I'm looking for a photographer for my wedding, and I have no idea how to do this. Can you help?

Sure. First, have a look at my portfolio. If you like what you see, read a few raves by my clients. Finally, give me a call and we can talk.

What is your general approach to shooting a wedding? Do you photograph more candids or more formals?

It's really up to you. Most of my couples prefer a journalistic approach that focuses more on candids and meaningful moments instead of directing a lot of posed portraits. Of course, we also do any requested formal portraits and have a good time as well! (Ask my clients if you don't believe me.)

How does your pricing work, and what do you provide?

Coverage begins at $2100 and you receive an online gallery, an album and a DVD of high resolution images. This is just the minimum - there are lots of other options are available, and I'm happy to come up with a custom collection to suit your needs. Contact me and I can send you my full rate sheet and answer your questions.

Do you offer albums, engagement sessions, framed prints and other cool things like that?

Absolutely. Call me, and I can fill you in on all the details.

Do you offer anything to improve my fiance's cooking skills?

Yes! I offer a deluxe cooking seminar!

No, not really. I'm afraid you are on your own here.

Do you travel for a wedding? How far?

Yes. I'm based in Phildelphia and I travel worldwide. The current record so far is just under nine thousand miles (14,000 kms) over three continents.

I have a passport and tons of US and international travel experience - Jamaica, Mexico, Anguilla, Anguilla, India, even Kenya, Egypt and China!

I love your work and want to book you for my wedding. What should I do?

It's easy. Give me a call at 888-595-3850 and I'll walk you through the process.

Come on. Are these images from real weddings? Aren't some of these people professional models, shot on a set in Los Angeles?

Ha. What a compliment to my clients!

I promise you: no models. No hair or makeup people, no art directors. No sets.

Just real people having real weddings, photographed by me.

Any other interesting tidbits of your life you can tell us?

Sure. I play a bit of banjo, like to juggle things and at one point in my life (when I was very bored), a friend taught me how to crotchet, so I made a scarf for a friend of mine (she really liked it).

I love mangoes and Ben & Jerry's New York Superfudge Chunk ice cream.

When I'm not shooting weddings, I enjoy traveling, reading, sipping fine beers at th microbrewery down the street from my house, and doing anything in the great outdoors, from hiking and biking to windsurfing and rock climbing.

Interesting. And you grew up in Canada?

Yup, born and raised.

So you speak French?

Yes, I speak French. (But really, it's just English with an outrageous accent...it's not actually French.)

Haha. That's funny.

Yeah.

Well, I think we are set. Any other questions?

Aren't you supposed to be asking me that?

I guess so. Well. This feels like an awkward way to end an FAQ, doesn't it?

Uh huh.
